Mike Stewart's desire to work for himself and provide customers with quality workmanship spurred him to start Stewart Construction in 2007 with his wife, Stefanie.

Mike can normally meet with clients the same day they call.  For the convenience of his customers, Mike keeps flexible hours, allowing him to work with his customers’ busy schedules. 

Mike spent six years operating a bulldozer, clearing South Texas ranches and building oilfield sites.  He also has a background in commercial construction.  With more than 15,000 hours of dozer experience and 15 years of supervising commercial construction projects, Mike can draw on past projects to ensure the quality of his work.

Mike grew up near Dilley, but Stefanie has lived in the La Vernia area all her life. They were married in the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in St. Hedwig in 1993. They now live in Wilson County with their six children, who attend La Vernia schools.
